Los Angeles based duo CRUEL RUMOUR are making quite a scene these days

with their outrageous personalities and intricate stage shows.

Comprised of producer/DJ Atlantic Connection & singer/songwritter/MC Julz the Huntress.

CRUEL RUMOUR debuted the LA scene during the summer of 2008, with a totally

unique and creative sound mixing elements of house, funk, hip hop and soul.

"The idea behind Cruel Rumour was to create a musical outlet for us where there wasn't

expectation or stress from outside parties as to how we should make our music or what

box we should be placed in. We just want to make fun party music and explore ourselves

as aritsts. We even rejected a major label deal in the Fall of 2008 because of that reason,

we took the meeting and realized they wanted to wipe the slate clean and bascially

re-construct us, which to that, we said no thanks."
